The Role:

We are seeking a Coffee Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure a superior customer experience at our café. This position involves managing a team during assigned shift, maintaining inventory, ensuring service standards are consistent. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Coffee Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure a superior customer experience at our café. This position involves managing a team during assigned shift, maintaining inventory, ensuring service standards are consistent. Provide leadership through monitoring efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and coaching team members. Lead by example with hands-on support and direct interaction with customers.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring a welcoming environment and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service.
  • Train staff in product knowledge, company standards, and responsible alcohol service (if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and beverage service guidelines.
  • Ensure the coffee shop maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment.
  • Assist in day-to-day operational tasks including opening and closing procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow during peak hours.
  • Accurately enters sales orders into POS system in a courteous and friendly manner for our customers.

Qualifications:

  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is a must.
  • Experience in a coffee shop or food and beverage environment is a must.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in order to ensure compliance with company service standards.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be fluent in English. Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps.
  • Must be able to stand for extended hours.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including standing, constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
  • Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
  • Practice safe work habits, follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
