Position Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with daily repairs and/or maintenance of College buildings. Paints interior and exterior of buildings as necessary, stores supplies, and completes appropriate forms as needed.
May cut and issue keys and program key cards.
May create/maintain key issuance records district wide.
Performs system checks at a level not requiring formal licensure such as cleaning condenser coils (power washing); changes filters, repairs supply air boxes; maintains supply inventory for filters and supply air boxes, insures proper drainage of condenser drains.
Performs electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs to include running power date cable, repairs and maintains emergency lighting, repairs plumbing fixtures, and preventative maintenance on water valves. Utilizes lock-out, tag-out safety procedures.
Receives set-up form request electronically and in written form; performs duties to move and assemble furniture, moveable partitions and work stations. Coordinates and performs room set-ups: set up tables, chairs etc. for variety of functions.
Performs security duties as needed: may include unlocking/opening College buildings; may perform front-desk security.
Works in concert with part-time personnel in the daily recycling duties: distributing containers throughout buildings, separating between paper and materials, maintain cleanliness of areas.
May drive campus vehicle in the performance of duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent and one-year of full-time relevant experience. Valid driver license and automobile insurance.
Knowledge of OSHA/EPA/HAZCOM/Lockout/Tagout requirements
Knowledge of asbestos practices and procedures
Certified pool operator
Journeyman experience in carpentry/electrical/plumbing
