Position Details

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with daily repairs and/or maintenance of College buildings. Paints interior and exterior of buildings as necessary, stores supplies, and completes appropriate forms as needed.

  • May cut and issue keys and program key cards.

  • May create/maintain key issuance records district wide.

  • Performs system checks at a level not requiring formal licensure such as cleaning condenser coils (power washing); changes filters, repairs supply air boxes; maintains supply inventory for filters and supply air boxes, insures proper drainage of condenser drains.

  • Performs electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs to include running power date cable, repairs and maintains emergency lighting, repairs plumbing fixtures, and preventative maintenance on water valves. Utilizes lock-out, tag-out safety procedures.

  • Receives set-up form request electronically and in written form; performs duties to move and assemble furniture, moveable partitions and work stations. Coordinates and performs room set-ups: set up tables, chairs etc. for variety of functions.

  • Performs security duties as needed: may include unlocking/opening College buildings; may perform front-desk security.

  • Works in concert with part-time personnel in the daily recycling duties: distributing containers throughout buildings, separating between paper and materials, maintain cleanliness of areas.

  • May drive campus vehicle in the performance of duties.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and one-year of full-time relevant experience. Valid driver license and automobile insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of OSHA/EPA/HAZCOM/Lockout/Tagout requirements

Knowledge of asbestos practices and procedures

Certified pool operator

Journeyman experience in carpentry/electrical/plumbing

All positions require an active/current TS/SCI security clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.<br />  <br /> As a <strong>Facilities Manager/Engineer</strong> <strong>s</strong><strong>pecific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong><br /> <br /> The Contractor shall provide senior strategic facility planning expertise to assist in the structured development, assessment, integration, programming, budgeting, action assignment, tracking, and execution of tasks.  <br />  <br /> <strong><u>Duties</u> </strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Develop program and execute plans for major facilities projects culminating in MILCON projects.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Update the strategic facility plan as necessary to satisfy NGA’s real-property facility requirements.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Identify and analyze alternatives leading to recommended courses of action to satisfy NGA facility requirements.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Develop DD1391 and other MILCON programming documents.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Assist in the development of project cost estimates.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Prepare presentations for senior management.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Incorporate ongoing studies.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Analyze emergent facility engineering issues such as antiterrorism/force protection requirements and facilities condition assessments for incorporation in the project.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Perform necessary financial analysis for the N2W project.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Provide resource allocation recommendations while taking into account risk considerations. </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Prepare cost estimates using the unified facilities criteria and other credible industry resources.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Coordinate with NGA Directorates to obtain the necessary data to complete all financial analysis.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Develop and deliver supporting documentation and presentations to justify findings.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Develop Interagency Agreements (ISSA), MOUs and related/similar documentation.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Review and evaluate United States Air Force real estate land acquisition documents. </li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;" style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">       Evaluate environmental restoration and remediation documents for compliance with applicable Missouri              Department of Natural Resource (MDNR) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards in support of land acquisition process.</li> <li style="padding: 0;
