PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Center of Expertise (CoE), a subdivision of SAP Active Global Support, has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability and smooth operation of SAP software as well as to optimize technical and business processes by delivering services to SAP customers.
The Global COE provides a meticulous, strategic service to SAP's largest customers operating on the most complex SAP landscapes. We interact with individuals at every level of the customer's organization, from low-level managers to executives, in order to meet the customer's needs.
The role of a CoE team member is demanding and requires passionate individuals with the strongest technical expertise and excellent analytical and communication skills. The role is tasked with planning, architecting, analyzing, optimizing, and safeguarding our customers' SAP solutions.
Deep understanding of the Business Objects Platform Architecture, Universe Design, Monitoring, Security and Authentication, and front-end reporting tools.
Configuring interfaces for all levels of business users, participate in SAP Business Objects implementation, upgrade and support activities, provide expertise within the area of SAP Business Objects product suite (Web Intelligence, Design Studio, Predictive Analytics, Lumira, Analysis for OLAP, Crystal Reports, and Xcelsius Dashboards).
Expertise in C++ and or Java programming language and with troubleshooting applications in different operating systems.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Implement interfaces for SAP Business Intelligence and integrate it with the SAP BW and SAP High-Performance Analytic Appliance (HANA) solutions
Leading and or contributing to critical global escalations and long term engagements for MaxAttention, and ActiveEmbedded customers.
Performs root cause analysis and delivers services in very complex environments for the top customer segments. Lead de-escalation activities onsite at critical customers as a De-escalation Architect; and plays a key role in war room engagements, and delivers onsite services as Team Lead for critical customers.
Analysis of system landscape and technical issues; assessment of core business processes and analysis of system and application operation
Internal tasks include mentoring junior members of the team, and support activities in the Mission Critical BackOffice
As part of a global team work closely with SAP Development and the Global Support Centers to assist our customers and find appropriate solutions. Work with cutting edge technologies within the SAP Business Suite and NetWeaver software solutions.
