Position Summary

This position performs facility coding and abstracting functions of outpatient cases including Emergency Department, Diagnostics, MSF and Recurring Patient type, Ambulatory Surgery, Observation, Outpatient in a Bed, and/or Clinic charging and coding of accounts.

Graduate of a HIM program and certification as RHIA/RHIT, and demonstrated knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT-4 classification systems, Advanced Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, ambulatory reimbursement schemes, and CMS Local Coverage Determination (LCD) and/or National Coverage Determination (NCD) guidelines. OR Completion of a coding certificate from AHIMA, AAPC or Certified Coding Program and Must be eligible to sit for AAPC/AHIMA certification exam within 6 months of hire or within 6 months of completion of the coding program, and pass the AAPC and/or AHIMA certification exam.Must have ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT-4 classification systems, Advanced Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, ambulatory reimbursement schemes, Coding and charge capture and proper E/M level assignment for facility coding. Knowledge of UB-04 and UHDDS abstracting requirements, and coding and charge capture for Interventional Radiology Procedures.Kind and Length of Experience: 1-2 yrs acute care coding experience in a hospital setting

Plant Foreman The Shelly Company Position Overview The Plant Foreman is responsible for safely controlling production and load out of materials produced in the batch plant, as well as for scheduling and ensuring timely delivery of supplies to the plant to perform duties in conjunction with dispatch loading operations. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Enforce company safety rules and conduct safety meetings, including tool box talks; ensure facilities are operating in a safe manner. * Accurately batches concrete load according to specifications. Reads dispatch orders and understands required needs for production of materials. * Conduct batching operations in an efficient and safe manner while complying with all local, state and federal regulations, including but not limited to: OSHA, MSHA, DEP, etc. * Conduct batching functions in a professional manner and ensure compliance with job specifications and all applicable environmental and air quality regulations. * Prints out invoice tickets on each truck/load and files. Gives copy of invoice to truck drivers to obtain customer payment upon delivery of materials as needed. * Responsible for efficient working condition of plant equipment and trucks. Performs maintenance to batch plant which includes greasing parts, sweeping, shoveling, performing equipment repairs, and cleaning. * Become proficient in all batching, dispatching & Quality Control Software. * Manage plant inventory, including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. * Ability to understand appropriate uses of various mix designs. * Must complete daily clerical functions including; daily paperwork to Division office (customer Tickets/Inbound Materials/Packing slips), daily bank deposits, etc. * Assist dispatch in scheduling drivers based on customer demand. Be familiar with the delivery areas and assist drivers in finding jobsites. * Identify and resolve regulatory, safety, personnel, and production problems, in a timely and effective manner. * Other duties as assigned.
