Cobot Welder Operator

Sportsfield Specialties is seeking a Cobot Welder Operator, for our Deposit, NY location, who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills. Candidate must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Integrate, set up, and operate new production floor Cobot welding equipment.

• Read measuring equipment and interpret blueprints.

• Complete Cobot preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in all aspects of role.

• Create, organize, and save optimized Cobot programming files and fixtures.

• Provide technical support in developing and improving Cobot welding processes.

• Train future operators.

• Maintain safety and quality standards.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Skills:

• Self-motivated and strong work ethic with the ability to be productive with little direction.

• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

• Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment.

• High attention to detail.

Experience/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Mechatronics/Cobot experience preferred.

• Trade school, college, and/or 2 years welding experience highly preferred.

• Experience welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel preferred.
