Your Mission:

As an Enforcement Analyst, you'll wield significant influence in the pursuit of environmental compliance. You will be entrusted with:

  • Effective Case Management: Efficiently navigating through cases outside our jurisdiction and rigorously handling cases within it.

  • Research and Resolution: Diving deep into case details to research, investigate, and resolve within established timeframes.

  • Prioritization and Escalation: Identifying and fast-tracking high-priority cases, and escalating complex situations to the appropriate managerial levels.

  • Documentation Excellence: Drafting comprehensive legal documents and maintaining detailed enforcement records in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Presentation and Communication: Presenting cases and capacity-building information with clarity and professionalism during committee meetings and hearings.

  • Inspection and Fieldwork: Conducting on-site inspections to ensure thorough case resolutions.

  • Litigation Support: Supporting legal processes through meticulous document reviews, discovery assistance, and expert witness identification.

This position is expected to report to BCDC headquarters in San Francisco no less than two days per week, Monday through Thursday (Thursdays are required in-office days).

Working Conditions

BCDC's office is our headquarters in downtown San Francisco at 375 Beale Street. BCDC is a hybrid workplace and offers telework for all employees. Telework is available for this position in accordance with BCDC Telework Policy and Procedures with two weekly in-person office days, one of which must be Thursday.
