Phoenix-Talent School District #4 is seeking applications for the following Extra Duty positions:
HEAD GIRLS' SOCCER COACH - Phoenix High School

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director/Principal

SALARY: As determined by negotiated salary schedule and current memorandums of understanding with the collective bargaining unit.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for coordinating entire high school girls' soccer program, including instruction and training in all aspects of the sport.

Responsible for all equipment, uniforms, and paperwork related to athletic eligibility. Must maintain open communication with athletes, parents, athletic director, and Booster Club.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
Has previous successful coaching experience in high school level or higher soccer preferred.
The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
The head coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.
ASEP/NFHS and various other required certifications or ability to become certified.
Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate practices and matches.

PREFERENCE May be given to those candidates who hold a valid Oregon teaching license. May be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
