Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of Position: The Coach/Mentor is responsible for the supervision of Summer (OSC) staff to include training and is responsible to assign participants and provide participant satisfaction. This position must also maintain positive community relationships to increase the number of referrals and assist with program development.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Collecting timesheets for assigned OSC youth, enter hours into City Span by Friday's. Enter work hours into the Evolv System and email the youth's timesheets to the assigned OSC program Administrative Manager by Fridays. (Picking up timesheet from youth and/or worksite by Thursday)
Maintain contact with the OSC youth and potential referral sources. Responding to any OSC youth issues and contacting leadership with these issues, responding the OSC youth and leadership emails and phone calls, and create positive relationships with the referral sources and evaluators.
Schedule OSC youth orientation/new hire training, as necessary. Schedule interviews with OSC youth and explain program requirements, verify that al required forms are completed with OSC Administrative Manager, prepare weekly checklist for timesheets, review and verify that all youth check's are received and report any missing checks.
Review any paperwork for accuracy and service delivery.
Attend meetings and trainings.
Comply with DFSS program requirements, work with OSC youth to complete the LNGR playlist.
Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus!
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
