Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring of associates; assigning duties; setting clear expectations; providing associate recognition; communicating expectations consistently and effectively; ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness; and recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback (Tour-to-Teach); communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introducing and leading company change efforts; providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions; and communicating business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; managing and supporting customer service initiatives (for example, store of the community and community outreach programs); ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved; developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies; and providing process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L (Profit & Loss) statements; managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses in designated business area to confirm they are indexed to sales; monitoring and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; and developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved for business area. 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience. Continued success and growth forces us to seek additional Cheerleading Coaches to assist or head up our Teams ACROSS THE COUNTRY this season. Candidates must be team players and willing to coach all levels of teams and classes. We offer very competitive pay, and a great place to work. Previous cheer knowledge is preferred, but not required, and a gymnastics background is a plus. The ideal candidate must be willing to dedicate 1 to 2 evenings for practices and some weekends for travel to various competitions. Champion Force Athletics, a dedicated force empowering youth, is looking for someone who can answer "Yes!" to these questions. Do you have Cheer, Dance, or Gymnastics experience? Do you enjoy coaching & working with children, ages 4-15? Are you 18 or older? Do you have a reliable vehicle? Are you enthusiastic? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of youth? Applicant must be able to work evenings. - Classes may be scattered throughout the evening, but most coaches will work no more than 3-4 classes in a day. Must be able to pass background check. Only serious applicants need apply. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize various projects and deadlines. This Cheer Coach position is for weekday evenings, teaching youth ages 4-15. Experience with teaching children is a plus! Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-ins, and basic record-keeping. There will also be occasional meetings, clinics, and a cheer competition each session. Paid training sessions will cover our teaching guidelines, records, and assisting a veteran instructor to see how classes are conducted.
