Co-Op/Intern - Finance (4 - 12 Month Contract; Automotive)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Schaeffler Canada Inc. is seeking a Finance/Controlling Co-op Student for our manufacturing facilities located in Stratford, ON. This position will report and provide support to the Plant Controller. The qualified candidate will assist with developing monthly costs reports, developing and maintaining standard costs in an activity-based costing environment, performing variance analysis, and assisting with budgeting and forecast activities.

Other duties and responsibilities include:

• Participating as a team member with internal, regional and international teams

• Supporting and implementing corporate wide financial priorities and initiatives

Your Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have:

• Proven analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and a willingness to learn

• Proficient in Excel; Access Database experience preferred. ERP experience (SAP preference) an asset

• Current course of study in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, Data Modelling, Mathematics, etc.
