This is an opening for Process Safety Engineer Co-op Student position at our Aurora, North Carolina Phosphate facility.

This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work. Work will be both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Outside the office, standard work wear will consist of hard hats, safety boots, safety glasses and ear plugs, with other items as needed; these items will be provided.

• Housing: Eligible to receive monthly housing assistance in the amount of $400 to assist with housing needs and expenses.

• Terms:

• Fall 2024 - June 3 to December 13

• Spring 2025 - January 6 - July 25

What you will do:

• Assist the site with various duties, including:

• Project work

• Advancing process related projects

• Troubleshoot process problems

• Inspecting chemical processing equipment

What you will bring:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent related program with a graduation date of August 2025 or later.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Organizational skills

• Drawing/CAD (preferred)

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
