Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Production Planning, the Co-manufacturing Specialist will play a key role in our company growth. Responsibilities will include ensuring the right quantity is produced or delivered and available at the Co-manufacturing sites and working collaboratively with cross functional partners.

What You Will Do

• Review inventory accuracy and monitor production schedule execution

• Create and communicate green blending work orders at offsite green warehouse

• Create and communicate green coffee deliveries from offsite green warehouse to co-manufacturing site

• Create and communicate workorders and batches of finished goods at co-manufacturing site

• Work order reconciliation of co-manufacturing sites

• Coordinate and resolve inventory issues with co-manufacturer, green coffee department and off-site warehouse/vendor team.

• Keep track of the green consumption and validate with existing formulas.

• Support current inventory and business process flows to improve inventory visibility and reporting accuracy.

• Support Inventory Control team by participating in weekly/monthly cycle counting, inventory reconciliation process and year-end green coffee physical inventory review.

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented; able to work effectively under pressure with high-energy, and proactive style; brings well developed sense of urgency to all work. Must also be quality minded, analytical and results oriented.

• A great communicator, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders

• A curious nature, to identify opportunities in the pursuit of continuous improvement. To increase accuracy, optimize resources and develop, recommend, and implement solutions

• Ability to gather data from/to multiple systems/sources to think critically and solve problems.

• Experience with an enterprise-level ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 or Oracle E-Business Suite or SAP

• Understanding of BOM's/Formulas and related concepts such as Formula versions and yields

• A familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work independently as well as be a team player

• Ability to participate in projects when needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field, or relevant work experience.

Peet's Home Office is a Hybrid worksite, which requires any Home Office employees to work onsite (Emeryville, CA) 3 days a week with the exception of any fully-remote role.

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
