Job Description:

  • Technical US 2nd shift lead, responsible for Batch execution, monitoring and support of batch cycles across multiple test environments.

  • Triage batch failures in a timely manner, escalate and work with application teams as necessary for resolution.

  • Responsible for ensuring the batch cycles meet SLAs.

  • Communicate effectively with both leadership, peers, and application teams.

  • Provide leadership to other members of the team, both onshore and offshore.

  • Adherence to standards and procedures for technical and change implementation.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, potential risks and increased efficiencies.

Required Skills:

  • Application Development or Support Experience.

  • Strong triage and issue resolution skills.

  • NDM and FTP.

Desired Skills:

  • Financial Industry Experience.

  • Good understanding of SDLC concepts.

  • Experience with automation scripts like REXX, CLIST EZYTRIEVE and PowerShell Script.

Wells Fargo Enterprise Technology is seeking a capable and motivated team member to join the Electronic Communications Compliance Technology team based in Charlotte. This team develops and manages the E-Messaging Supervision and Surveillance (EMSS) platform, a Machine Learning/Natrual Language Processing system based on the Digital Reasoning Synthesys application. The main function of the platform is to perform conduct supervision on electronic communications of regulated supervised team members based on SEC/FINRA/MSRB/CFTC regulations. The EMSS platform utilizes Java, Python, Hadoop, Elasticsearch and Oracle software stack with external data comprised of business messaging tools (MS Exchange, Bloomberg, Lync, etc.) and other non-messaging reference reference sources. The Sr AI Systems Engineer (App Sys Eng 6) position will be primarily focused on engineering, development and support of the Digital Reasoning Synthesys system and integrated sources and partner applications. This position will be a subject matter expert on the Digital Reasoning Synthesys system and underlying technology infrastructure. Examples of work in scope include Digital Reasoning Synthesys platform upgrades, configuration and development of enhacements (data feed integration, ETL, automation). Candidates should have a computer science or information technology degree with deep experience supporting applications with Linux, shell, Java and Hadoop (Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Oozie). Good candidates should have experience and working knowledge of Git, Elasticsearch and Python. In addition, this candidate must have excellent, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills as technology teams primarily work virtually. Finally, candidates should be comfortable collaborating with non-technical financial business professionals troubleshooting issues and translating business requirements and writing clear and concise documentation. This is a regulated position and supports Captial Markets and Wealth Investment Management businesses, thus is subject to personal investment policies and oversight required for regulated team members.
