Position Summary

Bank of America is currently seeking a DevOps and Release Support lead teammate for the AuthHub organization which serves Online Banking and a growing list of internal clients. This role provides development environment support to daily build and deployment activities across multiple environments for our application portfolio and plays a direct role in supporting production release activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Daily execution oversight of build ops in an automated and continuous process

  • Pre-production environment support

  • Hands-on design, build, deployment and support of code

  • Compiling code to move into test environments via automated processes

  • Managing continuous build, test and deployment processes

  • Branching and merging of code

  • Test automation support

  • Troubleshoot build and deploy failures and facilitate resolution

  • Improve speed, efficiency and scalability of the continuous integration environment

  • Communicate status frequently to product teams and engineering program managers

  • Document new processes and update existing wiki/SharePoint page as needed

Required Skills 3+ years of strong experience with Middleware including WebSphere, JBOSS and Apache

  • 1+ years leading a DevOps/Environment Support or comparable team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with internal and external partners

  • Experience with build, deploy and environment support in a large corporate environment

  • Team player that works effectively cross team and cross organizational with support, development, engineering and infrastructure teams

  • Ability to provide night and weekend support when required

  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and team oriented

  • Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced and often changing work environment

  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively across various business and technical teams

  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships across teams and organizations

  • Experience with Configuration Management Tools- Jenkins, Ansible

  • Experience Building out Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline for Java application

Desired Skills 3+ years production support, release management support or DevOps support experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype)

  • Highly organized and capable of simultaneously dealing with multiple projects and teams

  • IBM Urban Code UBuild/UDeploy Stack

  • SVN Tool for Version Management

  • Bitbucket admin experience

  • Perforce Source Control use experience

  • Automation experience

  • Basic understanding of Java coding concepts

  • Bank of America eCommerce domain knowledge

  • Agile development experience

  • SQL proficiency

  • WebSphere Admin Console Management

  • Bladelogic Automation Tool knowledge

Wells Fargo capital markets data services technology team is seeking a hands-on data services SQL code Developer with reporting tools background to work on Wells Fargo Enterprise data Technology team, partnering/working closely with Wells Fargo Advisors business (WFA) and Technology (WIMT) teams . Most of the data initiatives drive WIMT systems to develop/build/deliver efficient and performant report solutions and capability that drive reporting of risk metrics, compliance reporting, etc. These reports are leveraged to deliver information to our Advisors in which we are able to produce queries and analysis of their book of business. This information is used to provide insight and information to Advisors in which allow them to gather data about their practice and clients, which can be used in many ways to support business initiatives. Examples include determining if they are meeting firm standards or right sizing their book of business. WFA obtains significant benefits from this reporting software by providing Advisors the ability to perform analysis on their practice and books of business to mitigate risk, increase client satisfaction and quality of advice, as well as adherence to best practices and revenue generation for the firm. This role would primarily be focused on application development, SQL tuning, enriching and conforming data to common data structures. conduct interfaces with other systems, creates test data, perform unit testing and recommend solutions and process improvements to resolve problems in relation to different business requirement processes. Duties to include: * Design and implement highly distributed, scalable processes - Staging, Data Enrichments using SQL, Strong data enrichment & delivery techniques using Reporting tools such as MicroStrategy, Actuate, Microsoft SQL Server SSIS/ SSRS, OBIEE, , Autosys and Unix * Identify key business processes and deliver data subject area/design processes to load physical data models for better SQL performance * Perform data research, analysis, conceptual and logical data modeling to solve data issues, validate and document business data artifacts * In-depth understanding of entity relationship design, data normalization & relational modeling techniques * Effectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structures. * Work very closely with business analysts, development teams and project managers for requirements and business rules. * Support ongoing SQL, Report builds with efforts for Development, QA and Production environments. * Experienced with code management, change management and deployment controls and processes. * Pays attention to details and has strong communication skills both in verbal and written and the ability to communicate effectively with peers and business users. * Be able to facilitate discussions with technology and business team members to resolve issues * Be able to guide Development teams with any issues encountered during various phases of SDLC.
