Program and generate tool paths using CAD/CAM software on a desktop computer and/or intuitive programming at the CNC machines
Import and open a 3D drawing that the drafting department has generated
Determine the proper toolpath to machine the part in the most efficient manner
Select tooling for each operation to achieve the required tolerance and surface finish
Determine proper speeds and feeds for the selected tooling
Export the generated toolpath to the desired CNC machine
Set the machine offsets and parameters to match the generated program
