CNC Programmer

Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multi-disciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction. The Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAMWorks and NestingWorks software, with a strong background in CNC programming and machining. Responsibilities Generate CNC programs using CAMWorks software for various machining operations including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining. Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and requirements for programming purposes. Perform toolpath simulations and verifications to ensure accuracy and reliability of CNC programs. Develop and maintain machining setups, tool libraries, and work instructions within CAMWorks environment.

Utilize NestingWorks software to efficiently nest parts on raw material sheets for optimal material utilization. Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues, machining errors, and tooling problems as they arise. Continuously explore and implement best practices, process improvements, and advancements in CNC programming and machining technologies.

Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proficiency in CAMWorks and NestingWorks software. Strong understanding of CNC programming principles, machining techniques, and G-code programming.

Experience with CAD/CAM software, preferably SolidWorks for CAMWorks integration. 4. Knowledge of machining materials, cutting tools, and machining strategies. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

A degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
