Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Grade:

Position Summary:
The CNC Programmer will play a pivotal role in the production process by crafting and optimizing CNC programs that guide our cutting-edge machining equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- CNC Programming Excellence: You will be at the forefront of CNC programming, responsible
- for developing, writing, and optimizing CNC programs. Your expertise will be essential in
- ensuring the seamless setup operation of our Hass vertical and horizontal milling machines.
- Blueprint Mastery: Your ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and
- specifications will be instrumental in creating CNC programs that align with design
- requirements and customer expectations.
- Tooling Expertise: Selecting the right cutting tools and tool paths is a critical aspect of your
- role. You will factor in material properties, tolerances, and production objectives to make
- informed decisions.
- Machine Setup: You'll be hands-on in assisting with the setup and calibration of CNC
- machines. Precision and attention to detail are paramount to ensure the machines operate
- accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance Champion: Collaboration with our quality control teams will be a regular
- part of your work. You will take pride in ensuring that parts produced meet our rigorous
- quality standards and tolerances.
- Continuous Improvement: We value innovation and efficiency. You'll actively identify
- opportunities for process enhancement, cycle time reduction, and cost savings, contributing
- to our competitive edge.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Regular maintenance of CNC machines and the ability to
- troubleshoot programming or equipment issues will keep our operations running smoothly.
- Documentation Mastery: Keeping comprehensive records of CNC programs, tooling, and
- setup sheets are a critical aspect of your role. This documentation serves as a valuable
- resource for future projects and continuous improvement
Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience required
- Demonstrated intermediate skills in CAD/CAM software
- 3 years of CNC, G-code programming experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Associate's degree (two-year college or technical school) Field of Study: CNC Programming, Computer-related field, or mechanical
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills & Mathematical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety Requirements
