Job Title: High Volume CNC Lead Programmer Reports to:

Senior Manufacturing EngineerGeneral Description: Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / Tasks:Manage several machine cells in the Mill High Volume (MHV) DepartmentTake ownership of the machining and secondary processes for those cells

Maintain part quality through machine adjustments based on CMM reports and hand gaging

Maintain cell tooling and fixturing

Replace hydraulic fixture components as needed

Maintain part locators

Maintain and replace tooling as necessary

Maintain CNC G+M code program and correct/ update as necessary

Continuous ImprovementBroken and Early Worn tools

Evaluate tooling and develop corrective actions

Track and manage corrective action effectiveness

Enter data into tracking data base

Analyze data for trends and areas of improvement

Cell OEE performance

Enter data into database

Perform trend analysis on performance

Develop improvement strategies to increase cell performance

Operator performance

Help train new operators and work with experienced operators to maintain quality and production standards

Write and maintain work instructions

Develop training material and ideas to improve operator performance

Write and maintain FMEAs for production cells

Research and implement tooling advancements/ replacements for new and active cells

Set-up CNC mills for High-Volume production

Set up machine and tooling for production

Machine first set of parts for Quality inspection

Qualifications5 years setup/programming experience on CNC MillsSolid G & M coding skills

Self-directed and motivated

Strong ethics to work with management and peers as a team

Proven programming experience on Fanuc controls

Ability to read and interpret blueprints including a solid understanding of Geometric TolerancingExtensive knowledge of MicrosoftWordExcelOutlookAbility to work in a fast past environment.Must be open to working some overtime.Must be able to communicate/read/write in English.Perform typical machine shop operations.
Preferred but not required QualificationsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing/ Six Sigma/ SPCAbility to program, run, and maintain Fanuc robots

Knowledge of Microsoft AccessKnowledge of Solid works software

Experience with Mori Seiki CNC controls

Able to program and run pre-setter machine

Knowledge of TS 16995 or ISO 9000 procedures and guidelines

VIEW JOBS 11/7/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-05T00:00 Overview AS400 Programmer Analyst The primary role of the Programmer / Analyst will be to implement and support EDI from the technical perspective, as well as application support for the end users. Support includes Invois TrustedLink System i (TLi) EDI software in conjunction with the Epicor CMS ERP software on the AS400. This role is also to support, analyze, and develop / program within all modules of the ERP software utilizing the RPG software language. There will be instances of special projects outside this scope of responsibility. Responsibilities * Assist with the implementation of the EDI and CMS software throughout the organization * Support within the ERP modules related to Order Entry, Release Accounting, and Customer Service * Troubleshoot and support the transactional EDI activity for our sites (for example, inbound Releases and JITs, outbound ASNs, acknowledgments, bank remittances) * Specify and develop with RPG as needed within all modules of the ERP system * Create EDI trading partners within the system. Communicate with customers and vendors. Train end-users as required, and monitor all daily EDI activities * Develop new EDI transaction sets as needed * Communicate directly with our software suppliers in support of our sites or as new requirements are needed * Document procedures related to EDI and ERP Qualifications: * BA/BS: Bachelor's degree in business or computer-related area or commensurate work experience in relevant areas * Inovis TLi, EDI, EDI VAN experience (Covisint). iSeries (AS400) and 7+ years of RPG development, FTP, DDM, SQL and Query400. SQL Server a plus * Customer support, materials planning in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus * Strong interpersonal skills; Able to build working relationships with coworkers within department, as well as all facilities globally.
