CNC Process / Application Engineer - Manufacturing Machine Tool Solutions No Travel Responsibilities: Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Machine Tool Technology or Manufacturing 3 years of manufacturing experience with CNC machining, tooling design, and process engineering Must have CAD/CAM software, CNC programming and tooling selection Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot tooling and machining issues Expert ability to reduce tooling costs, optimize tool life and increase machine uptime Knowledge of tooling design, CNC machine operation and machining setup Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies Understand materials, including metals and composites, and their machining properties Ability to drive quality initiatives to ensure optimum performance and durability Lead, train and provide technical support to line personnel on tooling selection, usage, and best practices Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation related to CNC tooling and machining processes
