The CNC Operator/Quality Assurance Inspector position requires experience in one or more of the following CNC Machines: Vertical CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Manual Mill (Bridgeport), Manual Lathe. The position will also require the use of FARO EDGE measuring equipment and using the software provided for quality documentation of completed parts as well as preparing handwritten inspection reports if needed. (In-house training will be provided but experience would be beneficial to applicants) The successful candidate will have the ability to work and learn in a team environment.
Flexibility and versatility from Mill to Lathe is also required. We are passionate about constant improvement and growth and are looking for someone with the same mindset. Make offsets as needed on tooling to achieve proper dimensions required Use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions Inspect tooling for wear/damage The ability to properly inspect your work in a controlled work environment Must be organized and work independently with multi-tasking skills.
Handle multiple projects and communicate with others on our team. Be proficient in using all measuring/inspection tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges etc.) CAD/CAM Software experience would be an asset as well (we use MasterCam23) General Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required.
Minimum 2 years' experience operating various CNC Machines required.
