This is a direct hire/permanent opportunity with our food manufacturing client in Santa Fe Springs. Upon a job offer, benefits include: Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick Pay, Medical and Dental.
-Check parts by using your own tools and measuring equipment supplied.
Read all blueprints provided with the job and make sure that you understand all features and characteristics.
Do in process inspection and report to assure the quality of all parts
Work from prototype sketches, complex drawings and verbal instructions to machine parts and assemblies by operating and performing mid to advanced level setups on CNC lathes/CNC mills
Help troubleshoot issues with equipment and product.
Sets up mill and enters instruction on mill, including zero and reference points; sets tool registers, off-sets, and other requirements
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
5+ years of experience in CNC mill and lathe
3+ years of machine set up
Have basic working tools for the job
Able to use HAAS and Okuma machines making small to medium size parts.
Basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division
Able to read a caliper, micrometer and bore gages
