Where You Will Work

Our newly built 200,000 sf facility in Chandler, Arizona is just one example of how Advantest is leading the way in precision manufacturing by investing in our ability to deliver real-time decision making through connected networks of data to help improve manufacturing processes and productivity. Our parts boast standard tolerances of +-.0004", setting new benchmarks in the field. We have spared no expense for our new CNC Machining Facility in Chandler by equipping it with Hermle RS2 Robot Cells that use 6-axis Kuka Robot feeding pairs of Hermle C22U 5-axis Machining Centers and 72 Hermle 5-axis CNCs with advanced automation technologies that uses Swiss fixturing and Robotics from Erowa.

What You Will Do

• Set-up Hermle, Matsuura and Mikron 5 axis machines capable of multiple jobs running together, prove out programs, program trouble shooting and debugging.

• Operate and control process on all products produced on all machine shop equipment for high mix low volume dynamic.

• Responsible for executing production plan according to manufacturing schedule and work instructions.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance to manufacturing and automation process.

• Responsible for controlling quality of product according to Inspection Plan and maintaining quality records.

• Maintains and performs daily preventive machine maintenance and supplies all machine related needs.

• Trouble shoot and solve minor to complex problems and issues. Conduct major root cause analysis.

• Establish pallet quantities required for each job for best automation output.

• Responsible for completing all other related or unrelated assigned tasks or duties from management.

What You Bring to Advantest

• 10 to 20 years' experience with CNC Mills and Manual equipment, 5 axis experience would be a plus (+)

• Experience with Grinders, Lathes, EDM and WaterJet would be a plus (+)

• Advanced understanding of G.D. & T. (Knows how to measure using proper measuring instruments.)

• Able to read & understand blueprints, customer drawings, SOP's, WI's, and all technical info.

• Should be able to troubleshoot program problems related to CAM, PostP, Programmer, & Machine.

• Sound knowledge of advanced machine capabilities i.e. spindle probes and table lasers.

• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.

• Able to speak, read & write in English, Bilingual is a plus (+)

• Dependable and resourceful with strong commitment to their work.

• Machine troubleshooting experience would be a plus (+)

• Heidenhain control experience would be a plus (+)

• Programming using CadCam software would be a plus (+)

• Ability to program spindle probes and write machine macros would be a plus (+)

• Experience with cutting "Tool Table" dynamics would be a pluse (+)

• Experience with advanced automation requirments and cell technology is a plus (+)

• High Schoo dipolma or GED required.

What Advantest Offers You

• Hourly pay of $35/hour to $39/hour (rate varies based on how well your background and skills align with the position requirements)

• Annual bonus eligibility of up to 10% of base pay.

• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM / 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Overtime - up to 15 hours per week right now.
