CNC Maintenance Technician, 1St Shift (Temporary Position)

What We Need:

We are looking for a temporary Maintenance Technician to join our HBF team in Hickory, NC!

Repairs and maintains production machinery and mechanical equipment in a safe, dependable and timely manner that meets production and/or service needs.

1st shift: Monday

• Friday, 6am

• 230pm

What You Will Do:

• Installs and maintains machinery by using hand and power tools.

• Selects proper materials needed for job task.

• Performs preventative maintenance.

• Repairs drive units, hydraulic systems and bearing replacement.

• Performs basic electrical repairs.

• Disassembles machinery and equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts (weights vary up to 50 lbs.)

• Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in equipment. Lubricates and cleans parts.

• Performs general tasks such as painting, plumbing, plant and grounds clean-up and other general maintenance items.

What You Have:

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in Maintenance

What You're Good At:

• Maintenance and repair of production machinery, CNC experience is a plus.

• Preventative maintenance and repairs.

• Electrical experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Pass pre-employment drug testing

• Pass a 7-year criminal background check

• High school diploma or GED is not required
