Volt has an AMAZING career opportunity for a CNC Maintenance Electrician in South Gate, CA. This successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience installing, diagnosing, testing, and repairing electrical systems, as well as mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of CNC machines and equipment.

Compensation: $28.00-$38.00 per hour w/ Opportunity for Growth!

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

This is a Full-Time/ Direct- Hire opportunity.

• Hours are 2pm-10:30pm

• Monday - Friday w/ opportunity for OT

As a Maintenance Electrician you will:

• Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of CNC machines and equipment.

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed CNC machines and equipment.

• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between CNC machines and equipment.

• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.

• Tests malfunctioning CNC machinery and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction.

• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.

• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.

• Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.

• Pushes buttons and presses keys on controllers, teach pendant, and programmable controllers to program automated machinery to test for malfunctions, and to verify repairs.

• Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Electrical working on CNC Machines

• Experience with Heat Treat, Forging, or chemical processing within the Aerospace, oil refinery, or industrial manufacturing

• Experience installing, diagnosing, testing, and repairing electrical systems, as well as mechanical, hydraulic, AND pneumatic components of CNC machines and equipment.
