CNC Machinist

Shift Availability:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 a.m.

• 1:30 p.m., $23.00 - $27.00 hourly

• 2nd Shift: 1:00 p.m.

• 9:30 p.m., $23.00 - $27.00 hourly

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerically controlled machinery to process metal parts. This role involves pulling up jobs on CNC controllers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machinery to produce metal products

• Perform setup tasks including tool selection and programming

• Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications

• Perform maintenance and adjustments on machinery

• Collaborate with team members to solve problems

• Maintain a clean work environment

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum one year of CNC machine operator experience

• Basic knowledge of algebra and arithmetic

• Familiarity with production processes and materials

• Ability to operate CNC equipment and read blueprints

• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

• Aerospace certifications such as AS9100 are preferred
