CNC Machinist Programmer

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Set up and writes CNC programs for Okuma & Hurco CNC Mills and turning centers Programming extremely close tolerance parts Focused on plastic and alloy machining Create strategies for machining operations & designate the proper tooling to ensure quality & cost effective delivery Study and interpret drawings and specs to coordinate set up Meet & improve quality standards to reduce rework and non conformance Qualifications Ability to use gages & measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements Minimum of 3-5 years experience creating CNC programs Set up and operate CNC Lathes and machining centers Must be well versed in programming and utilizing Solidworks Read and interpret dimensional drawings, tolerances Capable of verifying own work with micrometers and calipers Motivated, Independent, Entrepreneurial Spirit Company Description Full service high performance CNC machine shop focusing on plastics and metals.
