CNC Machinist Programmer

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Machinist and Fabrication to join our team You will operate and repair a variety of machines and mechanical instruments. The lower end of the scale is someone who “operates” a machine, generally that someone else programs for them.

They put a part in, press the button and does some routine measurement on the part after it has been machined. The lower end could also be someone who operates small manual lathe or Bridgeport-type mill, with parts that one can pick up with one's hands. The upper end of the scale is someone who PROGRAMS CNC machines from drawings (not CAD files….) or one who runs BIG manual machines and is competent reading drawings (day 1) and not afraid to rig and set up 20,000-pound parts.

Responsibilities: Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments Modify parts and materials to improve overall production Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects Perform routine maintenance on machinery Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments ​ Qualifications: Previous experience in machinery or other related fields Familiarity machine tools and equipment Strong analytical and mathematical skills Strong attention to detail Company Description Dedicated Personnel, Inc. is a full-service personnel agency.
