Full-Time Industry: Metal Manufacturing Position Overview We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Setup to join our metal manufacturing team in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time role involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality metal parts to specified tolerances.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CNC machining and setup in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to produce metal components according to precise specifications. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine required operations.

Select and prepare tools, fixtures, and materials for each production run. Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and quality standards. Perform regular inspections of finished parts using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure conformance.

Troubleshoot machine issues and conduct basic maintenance to ensure smooth operations. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of CNC machining and setup experience, ideally in metal manufacturing.

Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions. Strong attention to detail, with knowledge of inspection and quality control processes. Basic troubleshooting skills and knowledge of machine maintenance.

Proficiency with measurement tools and gauges used in metalworking. Understanding of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing setting. Benefits Competitive pay range of $20-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
