CNC Machinist II - III

There are many avenues for career growth. Come see why Ascentec is a great place to work Okuma control experience preferred, but not required. 1-3 years of experience preferred. We are hiring for Swing Shift and Weekend Day Shift:

Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

• 3-day weekend every week Weekend shift

• Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. - enjoy 4 days off every week The positions are onsite and not eligible for Visa sponsorship. Requirements JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
  Included, but not limited to : Load and unload parts for machining up to 40 pounds. Perform basic equipment maintenance. Read and interpret manufacturing prints.
  
  Possess efficient math skills and basic understanding of geometric tolerance. Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, pins, indicators and bore gauges. CNC setup and operation; tech tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly.
  
  Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls. Inspect machined parts following 1st Part and in process inspection protocol. Must have CNC 3 & 4 axis machining experience. 5 axis is a plus.
  
  Able to change fixtures, replace tool changes and manage tool libraries. Machining and holding tolerances of /- .0005".   JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS : Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  
  Able to multitask and manage multiple task simultaneous. Experienced with multiple metrology tools for measuring and recording part dimensions. PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail Oriented.

  Trade school and/or at least three-year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Salary Description $25 to $34 per hour
