Job Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM; Monday - Friday
Job Summary:
Machinists are primarily responsible for the setup and operation of CNC production equipment. Using standard concepts, practices, and procedures, Machinists produce parts that fully meet all required specifications. They are also responsible for minor programming modifications to ensure that productivity and quality goals are achieved. The Machinist is expected to rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Machinists will execute regular and preventative maintenance procedures to maintain product quality.

What Will Your Job Look Like?
Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and specifications
Read, interpret, and modify CNC programs using G and M Code and XYZ Coordinate Systems
Follow a plan of action to manufacture parts according to blueprints and specifications
Use FANUC Controller and/or Mazatrol programming
Use precision tools such as a micrometer, caliper, and scale to determine product accuracy
Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise.
Adjust machine control to resolve production errors found in parts with defects
Select appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used
Must comply with the company's safety policies and standards

All you need is…
Must have a technical degree in an area of specialty or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Experience operating CNC equipment in a production facility; specifically mill and/or lathe machines
Knowledge of precision measuring tools (i.e., drills, end mills, inserts for lathes, and taps)
Must be able to communicate and understand English - all production drawings are in English
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in basic math and use of a calculator
Be able to stand for long periods of time
