Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize production processes. Document production activities, machine performance, and any issues encountered. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Experience with mill and lathe operation and setup. Skill in operating drill presses and grinding machines.

Knowledge of machine operating and change over procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Haas machines. Strong troubleshooting and routine maintenance skills.

The work area is maintained to be clean and organized, adhering to strict safety protocols and company policies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
