CNC Machinist- 2Nd Shift

Then it is time for us to make your acquaintance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and maintain CNC machining centers Understand and able to modify CNC program 'G' codes (FANUC). Deburring and cleaning of machined parts Inspect parts for compliance and accuracy per drawings and models utilizing height gage and other precision tools and gages. Pull parts specified on "Shop Order Pull Sheet" from Inventory to WIP Understand Imperial and Metric drawings with GD&T tolerances Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Knowledge of CMM, 5 axis CNC, and CNC Lathe is a plus This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected.

REQUIREMENTS: Reading and writing required High School Diploma preferred Set-up horizontal and vertical CNC Machining Centers Five or more years hands-on experience with 3 & 4 axis CNC Machining Centers Able to diagnose problems associated with CNC programs and cutting tool issues Create basic programs on the CNC controller (G-codes) Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Windows and DNC software Able to create tools and fixtures from drawings.
