CNC Machinist - 1St Shift - 24.00-36.00/Hr

Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist - Day Shift - $24-$36/HR Job Description We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with CNC mills or CNC lathes and be able to set up, operate, and machine their own parts. The role involves working with various machining centers and handling a range of materials including cast grey ductile iron, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and more. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes.

Work with horizontal or vertical machining centers, VTL (vertical turret lathe), VMC (vertical machining centers), and boring mills. Handle small to large part horizontal and vertical CNC milling/machining centers with part size/capacity up to 60" cube. Operate large part CNC vertical turning lathe VTL with live tooling, up to 78" outside diameter and 18,000 weight capacity.

Manage small to medium part CNC lathe with live tooling, 17" swing (OD). Operate large part horizontal lathe with up to 33" swing (OD) and between centers/length. Perform CNC full 5-axis milling/machining with part size/capacity up to 36" cube. Machine various materials including cast grey ductile iron, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, super alloys, and tool steels.

Program using Mastercam and operate Fanuc controls. Read and interpret blueprints. Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to conduct quality checks on parts.

Essential Skills 5 years of CNC Machining experience. Experience with CNC mills or CNC lathes. Ability to set up, operate, and machine own parts.

Mastercam programming experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Familiarity with Fanuc controls. Additional Skills & Qualifications SolidWorks experience. Must have own tools.

The work environment is flexible, with options for various start times to accommodate personal needs. Work Environment The company is a custom machine shop operating as a job shop. This is a first shift position from Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, with the option to work until 4:30pm if desired.

Candidates should be open to working on Saturdays if needed. The start time is flexible, allowing for shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm to accommodate childcare or other personal commitments. The company is also looking to start a third shift and is interested in candidates for this shift as well.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Perrysburg, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $36.00/hr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Perrysburg,OH.
