CNC Machine Operator

Position Description

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

• Operate one type of the following machines in a production environment

• CNC Mill (Makino F5's, Makino PS95, Matsuura)

• CNC Swiss Screw (Lathe) (Citizen L-12, Citizen L-20, Citizen Cincom, Tornos DECO, Star SR20R, SwissTec, Coherent StarCut)

• CNC Stamping (Bruderer BSTA 510 & BSTA 810, SAGA)

• CNC Spring Forming (FUL16, FMU16, FMU25 & 4 Slide)

• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications

• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

• Work flexible and extended hours as needed

• Be a detail-oriented and quality-minded individual

• Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations

• Experience with above equipment

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.

• Work experience related to CNC machining

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Benefits

The base compensation range for this role is $17 - $19 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
