talented Machinists for Lathe to fill roles on our growing 2nd shift (15% shift premium) and weekend shift.
2nd shift (5 pm to 5 am)
Weekend shift (5 to 5- 1st or 2nd) Friday,Saturday,Sunday- work 36 get paid for 40 with OT optional during the week. (Only 2nd receives a15% shift premium)

Responsible for the set-up, adjustment and operation of CNC lathes on parts of varying complexity and material, holding exact tolerances.
Works from blueprints, sketches, process sheets and verbal/written instructions running stepped diameters, tapers, angles, etc.
Uses computer printouts for proper sequencing of machine set-ups, selecting and placing tooling and fixtures, establishing proper feeds, speeds and cycles for the machines.
Edits and proofs new program tapes and sharpens own tools are required.
Makes use of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments to check own work.
Responds to special requests from supervision as required and all other duties as assigned.
Three plus years experience set up and operation of CNC Lathes.
Blueprint reading and shop math skills required.
Proficiency in the use of a wide variety of precision measuring tools is required.
