Job Title: CNC Machinist(Direct Hire)

Job Type:
Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

Location: Dresden, NY

Shift: Days, Mon-Fri

Pay: $20-22+/hour, DOE may be higher

Essential job duties for this role will include:

• Set Up / Operator of CNC Lathes / Mills on Mid sized equipment
• Machinist who can operate, set up, maintain and order materials as needed
• Machinist with team oriented hands on approach who has a high technical expertise
• 2 years experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery
• Experience with CAD / CAM programs / Fusion
• Understanding of feeds, speeds, machining parameters and tool selection
• Ability to support the development and maintenance of work instructions, machine documentation and training materials
• Willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on industry advancements
• Willing to mentor and assist junior machinists
• Set Up and Operate CNC lathes, mills to perform machining operations according to blueprints, engineering drawings and job orders.
• Work in a cross functional team and communicate effectively with co-workers, engineering and design groups.
• Other duties as assigned

We’re looking for a CNC Set Up Operator / Machinist:

• 3 years’ experience with Mastercam or equivalent software or suitable combination of machine programming and machine knowledge and experience.
• 5 years’ experience in First Class Machining capacity
• Extensive experience with computer modeling software
