CNC Lathe Machinist II - 2nd Shift

Our team in Space & Defense Group is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist II to join them. You will report to the

department Performance Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered for CNC Lathe Machinist II, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

  • At least one year of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, working on Lathe machines with Mill capabilities.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of G-Code

As a CNC Lathe Machinist II, you will:

  • perform a complete range of operations on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities on all types of materials.

  • perform set-ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.

  • Be

  • responsible for the inspection of all work performed, setting up or adjusting gaging equipment, detecting unusual conditions, deviate parts; and when needed recognizing errors in blueprints and operation sheets.

  • Interpret complex drawings, sketches and operation sheets

Salary Range:

  • The base pay range for this opportunity is $33.94/hour.

  • Off shift employees receive a 10% differential on top of base-pay.
