CNC Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer has the primary responsibility of providing installation, troubleshooting, diagnostic, repair, and maintenance support with total customer satisfaction in mind. This individual must demonstrate strong repair and troubleshooting skills and knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The below list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position. Install new CNC machine tool systems at customer facility (including all options and accessories on all machine types) Analyze findings to troubleshoot and determine source(s) of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or application issues Coordinate problem resolution and recommend repair, replacement, and/or other corrective action for CNC machine tools Provide on-site and remote support (telephone, email, etc.) to customers, distributors, and colleagues Provide project management and training as required Execute other tasks related to trade show events (JTEKT Technology Days, IMTS, etc.) and/or service support on an as-needed basis Travel Requirements: 90% - 100%, Monday through Friday with overnights and some weekends Performs other related duties as assigned.
