The CNABU Product marketing team is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Marketing Manager to lead a digital content strategy that drives awareness and demand for VMware's Kubernetes portfolio. The successful candidate will apply experience and opinion to carry a consistent message across blogs, social, video and digital content. In this capacity, they will have a lot of creative freedom; they should challenge VMware with new ideas. They will obsess over the efficiency of these channels to generate and nurture leads, constantly tuning these effortsit is critical that this candidate use a data-driven approach (e.g. SEO, reporting tools) to make decisions and share program results.
The Enterprise Marketing Manager will be a critical part of the Product Marketing team. This person will work cross-functionally with corporate marketing, sales and product management stakeholders within CNABU and across VMware. They will drive creation of new digital content and serve as the voice of CNABU through social media, blog and web. They will be a hub within the business unita high impact, high visibility role.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining process for campaign reporting and lead management, including lead upload, audit of data quality and metrics reporting.
Partnering with marketing, sales and product management leads on webinar strategy and promoting through internal and external channels.
Owning the business unit's social media presence through content curation, social listening and user engagement.
Managing the Cloud Native Apps blog, working closely with subject matter experts to ensure content freshness and pipeline.
Driving a SEO strategy throughout all digital content from web to white papers.
This individual will have the support of their teammates and vendors as needed to successfully deliver on the above.
Student. You don't need to be steeped in Kubernetes and cloud native, but you've got to have the desire to really dig in and understand the technology and its impact
Social butterfly. This isn't a behind-the-scenes role; you'll need to collaborate with stakeholders across VMware and stay in close communication with/present frequently to internal and external teams.
Problem solver. You enjoy finding order in chaos. This role will encounter roadblocks as CNABU is a young start-up business unit in a large enterprise. You welcome the challenge of navigating process complexities and influencing others.
Social Media. WordPress: 2+ year (Preferred), Twitter (Salesforce Social Studio, Sprinklr or similar)
SEO. Proficiency in SEM or willingness to learn.
Reporting. Proficiency in sales and marketing systems like SFDC, Pardot and SAP.
