JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse within the CNA scope of practice. Performs clerical duties within the department or patient care team as assigned. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Samaritan Wound Care treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and/or other problems. The scope of practice is physician driven and centered around wound, ostomy and continence care while maintaining additional adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current unencumbered Oregon CNA Level 2 certification required. Applicants with a current, unencumbered Oregon CNA certification may be considered and offered training to CNA2. Healthcare provider level BLS required.
