CMT Technician/Inspector

Job Title: CMT Technician/Inspector - Montgomery

Job Description

Join our team as a CMT Technician/Inspector and engage in field operations involving sampling, testing, special inspections, and observation. You will apply various methods and standards such as ASTM, DOT, ACI, AWS, and IBC. Assist our engineering staff in project execution and management by leveraging your understanding of engineering practices and construction methodologies as defined by codes and specifications. You'll also be responsible for conducting laboratory analysis of construction materials in accordance with specified methods and standards. This role involves physical activities such as walking through uneven terrain, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Anticipate up to 50% travel, primarily within the Southeast, including 10% outside the state of Alabama.

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in ASTM, DOT, ACI, AWS, IBC methods and standards

• Ability to conduct laboratory analysis of construction materials

• Proficiency in reading and understanding construction plans and specifications

Soft Skills

• Ability to assist in project execution and management

• Capability to handle physical activities and lifting

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wetumpka, Alabama.

Work Environment

The role involves working outdoors for sampling and in the laboratory for testing construction materials.
