Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Construction Materials Testing technician will perform quality control testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, grout, and mortar.

• Technician may be required to cast and break concrete specimens per ACI, keep track of all work completed through daily reports, keep track of travel-time between project sites, review daily schedules for assignments, and have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

• Projects may require this person to be the only materials testing technician for the project.

• A licensed professional engineer will oversee and authorize work performed by construction technician. Communication with contractors and construction superintendents will be required. Ability to work independently with no direct supervision.

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

• This position is an entry-level position, which requires little to no experience, but the ability to learn and be trained.
