CMS Administrator

The Content Management System (CMS) Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the CMS, including but not limited to implementation and support for CMS features, add-ons and plugins, and monitoring of site performance. The administrator will own the repository and organization of content libraries, tree structure, user permissions, workflows and publishing. They will be a key partner to Marketing and IT teams on the development and testing of code, roadmap of platform, and delivery of such, and a maintenance and continuation of CMS best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance on usage of the CMS

  • Remedy CMS Administrative/Operational issues in conjunction with front end and back end teams.

  • Manage roles/permissions, content libraries, taxonomies, and other features of the CMS for all user groups.

  • Works closely with front end team, content team, and optimization teams to enhance CMS utilization for all CMS users.

  • Develop and maintain training documentation and ongoing trainings for effective usage of the CMS to all users such as new feature utilization, content template management, self-publishing, workflows, best practices, etc.

  • Identify and report on analytics regarding CMS usage and performance.

  • Enact regular audits of content libraries, templates, etc. to ensure alignment to content management principles, style guides and business rules.

  • Management and documentation of visitor groups and/or segments within the CMS.

  • Coordinate with digital marketing campaigns, SEO Manager, and content teams to produce segmented or dynamic landing pages and optimize over time.

  • Focus on project management, execution and maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience running an enterprise content management system.

  • Knowledge of web design and user experience, development, and implementation, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with XML and related technologies.

  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

  • Experience writing technical requirements, liaising between the business and development teams.

  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in delivering business goals and achieving results.

  • Knowledge of current trends and technology in the field

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Background in information architecture (IA), user experience (UX), technical writing and/or user research.

  • Experience or interest in lead generations and paid digital campaign management.

  • Experience or interest in segmentation, with focus on localization and personalization.
