The CMM Programmer is responsible for writing, programming and maintaining CMM programs for use by a team of CMM Operators/Inspectors.
Analyze and interpret blue prints, technical data, 3D CAD models, in order to create new/ and improve old programs
Report maintenance related issues with equipment to appropriate personnel
Notify off-shifts of problems encountered and steps towards resolution
Work in a team environment to accomplish work
Problem solve and Inspect parts when needed
Write and maintain programs
Work on continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate as needed within and outside of the department
Resolve operational, quality, and/or maintenance resource issues as needed
Assist with employee training and cross-training
Complete required paperwork, create reports
Have a positive/optimistic attitude, work well with others in a team environment
Time management skills are essential
