CMM Inspector

We are hiring a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Inspector for an iconic leader in the design, development, and production of firearms. Pay: $28.23 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 6:42 AM - 3:12 PM, Monday - Friday

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of proven experience as a CMM Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment.

• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills.

• Familiarity with other precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).

The CMM Inspector will provide support to our client's quality assurance team and will be responsible for performing precise inspections of machined parts and assemblies using advanced CMM technology to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Daily tasks will include:

• Set up, program, and operate CMM equipment to perform detailed inspections of machined parts and assemblies.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.

• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using CMM and other precision measuring instruments.

• Generate inspection reports and document findings accurately.

• Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from specifications.

• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
