This position will be staffed in B.C. Canada

The delivery field service representative (FSR) will provide on-site and remote technical support as a Sikorsky representative for the Canadian Military Helicopter Program (CMHP) located in Patricia Bay B.C. Canada. This service will require Handling complex customer relationships concerned with technical service problems of operation, maintenance and overhaul of Sikorsky CH-148 helicopters.

Typical FSR responsibilities include Analyzing and recommending corrective action for all malfunctions or failures of the aircraft or equipment including those of the airframe, engine components, gearboxes, blades, electrical/electronic units, etc. Determining causes of the malfunctioning, excessively worn, or failed parts by reviewing maintenance and inspection criteria and assessing operating conditions that may be affecting such causes.

Reporting problems and flight characteristics symptomatic of the design defects or improper operating procedure affecting flight safety possible grounding of aircraft. Assisting customers by interpreting and clarifying instructions, publications or other technical data issued to customer and by obtaining all requested information on engineering problems. Observing customer operating and maintenance procedures and making recommendations for improvements.

Conducting special inspections or tests and instructing operators in the proper methods of conducting inspections. Assisting operators to keep up with current modifications and advising operators as to interchangeability of parts. Submitting detailed reports to the Sikorsky Manager on A/C status and all program or customer issues. training the maintenance personnel covering organizational and intermediate levels of maintenance and operations, operational checkout, systems analysis, and system/subsystem replacement/adjustment/servicing related to Sikorsky products.

Supporting supply chain, ITC, platform/programs, and business development on an as-needed basis. Providing aircraft status, total airframe time, locations, compliance data and all other pertinent information that Sikorsky engineering, analytics, or programs may request. This information will be submitted into Sikorsky proprietary data systems

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate would:

Work well both independently and in a team environment

Has previously supported CMHP or S92 fielded a/c.

Be very familiar with aircraft maintenance manual, drawings, and flight operations

Have a strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and relay repair instruction to customer

Have experience in working directly with customers

Thrive in high pressure environments where timing is important

Have an Active secret clearance

previously supported delivery and acceptance activities for a military or civilian customer

Has previously supported CMHP or S92 fielded a/c.

The FSR will be responsible for providing Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level support for S-70 series aircraft. The FSR will provide over the shoulder training in the areas of maintenance and operational techniques relevant to the repair of the above-mentioned aircraft and equipment, including associated test equipment, with special attention given to adjustment, calibration, trouble-shooting/fault diagnostics, vibration analysis, bench check routine maintenance, and inspection methods. Provide guidance and instruction in the use of associated special tools and test equipment. Provide assistance in identifying areas where additional training may be required. Emphasize safety precautions. Demonstrate 'best method' for the installation of modifications and retrofit kits. Render technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems. Provide an analysis of maintenance program and recommendations that may be beneficial to customer operations. Serve as a liaison to Sikorsky Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) for the exchange of information relative to maintenance of the aircraft including notification of urgent maintenance difficulties and/or material requirements to ensure rapid response to operator readiness requirements. Submit written reports to Sikorsky RMS Program Management on a weekly and monthly basis, in summary format. 7-10 years experience maintaining mechanical, electrical/avionics systems on Sikorsky S-60 helicopters. Basic Qualifications: The ideal candidate would: Work well both independently and in a team environment. Be very familiar with aircraft maintenance manual, drawings, and flight operations. Have a strong background in Avionics and troubleshooting. Have experience working directly with customers and in high pressure environments where timing is important. The candidate must be willing to provide On Call support 24/7, be willing to travel in support of customer requirements, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
