Role Summary:

The CMC Operations Specialist Weld / Assembly will be responsible for manufacturing hardware utilizing experience and processes for assembly and welding of Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC's).

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, as the CMC Operations Specialist Weld / Assembly, you will:

Complete required training curriculum for weld processes

Complete all required compliance training

Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and or quality audit

Be an active contributing member of a high performance self-directed work team

Ability to use / apply welding and assembly techniques and inspections

Ability to read & understand process instructions & weld schedules

Communicate effectively with Production Control and Process Engineer(s) on needed supplies and consumable materials

Drive Safety, Quality, and Production metrics within the team

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED

Welding Certificate from accredited Trade School or equivalent

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):

Ability and Willingness to work 1st shift

Flexibility to work off shifts and travel for training, as required

Ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, as required

Complete required training curriculum for weld processes

Complete all required compliance training

Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and/or quality audit

Desired Characteristics:

Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively

Ability to work independently

Strong problem solving skills
