We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, an 18 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Pediatrics Office. This is a full-time, day shift position performing routine clinical and administrative duties.

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

  • Under the supervision of medical provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.

  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.

  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.

  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage and patient registration.

  • Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Required
  • Two years of college
  • Preferred
  • Associates degree
  • Preferred

Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • One of the following: CCMA, CMA, RMA, LPN or EMT

This is a Full time Days Wkends Rotate position which provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.
