CM Midway Bread Production Lead - Full-Time

Job Description

Essential Functions / Process responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary- Works under minimal supervision.- Must be knowledgeable of 95 bread varieties and 75 pastry varieties.- Assists bakery manager with supervision of bakery partners.- Orders and receives bakery products and supplies.- Orders signage for department.- Logs bakery sales and computes department sales and labor percentages.- Maintains transfer record.- Assists with inventory.- Writes schedule for bakery partners.- Wraps, prices, sells, and stocks bread and other bakery products continuously.- Demos bread, or prepares customer samples for self-serve.- Maintains sanitation in department.- Takes special orders by phone.- Provides superlative customer service.- Monitors product quality.- Uses suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

• Typically requires 5-8 years of related experience.- Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment required.- Supervisory experience preferred.
• Function in a fast-paced, retail environment- Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis
