S3, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to support our STORM project at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position.

Description:

Configuration Management (CM) Engineer/Analyst: Provide technical support in the Configuration Management field for the Engineering Directorate, Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) PMO.

Duties:

• Reviewing and validating 2D drawings.

• Assessment of parts lists for the PrSM missile systems and integration hardware.

• Performing checklist activities associated with technical documentation and compliance with applicable standards.

• Providing technical support at audits performed at development contractor or subcontractor facilities.

• Supporting the generation of plans in support of Configuration Management, including developing CM related desk guides and process documents.

• Review of Data Rights Markings to assure compliance with PMO goals.

• Providing technical support to change control processes, including tracking and providing biweekly status of all Configuration Control Board activities.

• Creating and managing all changes related to the missile system.

• Requires coordination between elements of the Project Office related to product configurations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree and 14 years; Bachelor's degree and 16 years; Associates degree and 18 years; or High School diploma and 20 years of experience.

• Must understand and implement Configuration Management policies and procedures.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Manage the functional, personnel, and financial aspects of a small program or several technical tasks.

• Must be able to independently organize and conduct analyses and research at the task level.

• Proven experience in developing functional knowledge of program or task-order specific requirements.

• Senior demonstrated ability in developing functional requirements for complex engineering projects.
